Haj. Saratu Alhassan Seeks Women Leaders’ Support for Kasim Mohammed’s Administration, Urges Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

GWAGWALADA, FCT — Haj. Saratu Alhassan, the Special Assistant on Rural Women Mobilization to the Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, has called on women leaders across the Area Council to unite and give their maximum support to the administration of the Chairman, Hon. Kasim Mohammed.

Haj. Saratu made the call during a meeting with women leaders in Gwagwalada, where she sought their cooperation and support towards the successful implementation of the administration’s programmes and policies.

She emphasized the important role women play in grassroots development and political mobilization, noting that their collective support remains crucial to the success of the administration and the overall development of Gwagwalada Area Council.

The Special Assistant appealed to the women to put aside religious and ethnic differences and work together in the interest of peace, unity, development, and progress.

According to her, the 2027 general election presents an opportunity for the women to demonstrate their collective strength by mobilizing their communities and supporting candidates they believe will advance the interests of the people.

She specifically urged the women to work for and support the electoral victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, and Hon. Danladi Chiya in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

“We must put religion and tribe aside and come together as women with a common purpose. Our strength is in our unity, and we must use that strength to support good governance, development, and the progress of our communities,” Haj. Saratu stated.

She further encouraged the women leaders to strengthen their grassroots networks, engage their communities constructively, and promote peaceful participation in the democratic process.

The meeting ended with a renewed call for greater collaboration among women leaders in Gwagwalada Area Council, with Haj. Saratu reaffirming her commitment to rural women mobilization, empowerment, and inclusive grassroots development.
